Legendary A&R executive Don Greirson got his start as a disc jockey at the age of 17 & rose to prominence in the recording industry doing record promotion for several labels, including Chess and Capitol Records, and involved promotionally with the launching of The Beatles label, Apple Records, singularly recognized with the only Golden Apple Award ever presented by them for "Outstanding promotion in launching Apple Records in the United States". Don was also manager, international A&R/promotion at Capitol. When Capitol created a second label, EMI America Records in 1978, he became its vice president, A&R. where he signed and helped guide a number of hit-making acts, including Kim Carnes, Sheena Easton, Heart, Joe Cocker, Steve Vai, Megadeth, and many more. He was personally involved with the recording careers of Tina Turner, Bob Seger, Anne Murray, The Motels, Duran Duran, Power Station, Thomas Dolby, Ashford & Simpson, Billy Squier, and assisted in the emergence of Crowded House, Poison, The Smithereens and Great White. In 1987, Don resigned from Capitol to join CBS/Sony as senior vice president, A&R, Epic Records, where he signed and worked with Celine Dion, Iron Maiden, Basia, & others, & bringing his expertise to bear on the careers of Cheap Trick, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, REO Speedwagon, The Jacksons and more. Under his direction, the Epic A&R staff also signed successful acts Living Colour, Indigo Girls, Allman Brothers Band, Alice Cooper, Social Distortion, Suicidal Tendencies, and Joe Satriani

In 1993 Grierson created Drive Entertainment, a company with emphasis on classic artist and niche market catalog exploitation, where he compiled and packaged over 140 albums. In 1998 Grierson re-entered the broader based music market and currently operates his own independent consultant company, working with labels, artists, managers and publishers, both in the US and overseas. He recently completed an album with American Idol finalist Jon Peter Lewis and is now overseeing a major album project for Vietnamese superstar YENN.
Don is a music supervisor for independent films, an instructor at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, a long time voting member of NARAS, a consultant to CRCJianian, a joint venture partnership between Los Angeles based consultancy firm, AIM Group LLC and the China Record Corporation (CRC), the Chinese governments oldest and largest record company as well as being a consultant
for the US division of Melke Pty Ltd, Australia, a very successful branding, marketing and promotional company.

Don has also just written (with co-author Dan Kimpel) and had published, his first book "It All Begins With The Music".
